🥃 What is included in our customized Bourbon tour experience?

Our Bourbon Tour offers a comprehensive experience, including admissions for three tours or tastings, lunch, snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water. We will also pick you up at your hotel, Airbnb, or home, and you will have the services of a tour guide for the day. You’ll have the opportunity to explore renowned distilleries, savor a variety of bourbon flavors, and enjoy delicious refreshments.

🥃 How long is the tour?

Most of our private, customized tours last about 8 to 9 hours, including pickup and drop off. Specific tour times will be determined and shared with the clients after booking. Most distillery tours are about 60 to 75 minutes in length, including the tasting.

🥃 Which distilleries will we visit?

Our Bluegrass Bourbon Tours offer a carefully curated selection of distilleries, showcasing the best of Kentucky’s bourbon heritage. The specific distilleries included in each tour may vary depending on availability and seasonal factors.

🥃 Can we request specific distilleries?

It’s important to note that some distilleries may have limited tour availability or require advanced reservations. We recommend booking your tour well in advance to increase your chances of visiting your desired distillery.

🥃 What is the tasting experience like?

Many distilleries offer classic tastings, where you’ll sample a selection of their signature bourbons, often paired with educational commentary from knowledgeable guides.

🥃 What should I wear?

Dress comfortably for your Kentucky Bourbon tour. Opt for casual attire like jeans or khakis and a comfortable shirt. Wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be doing some walking.

🥃 Do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend booking your private tour experience four months in advance. Although we are able to accommodate last-minute reservations, for Kentucky Derby Week, we recommend booking as soon as possible.

🥃 What is your cancellation policy?

More than 30 days out from the tour date: Tours that cancel 31+ days in advance are eligible for a 75% refund.

Less than 30 days until the tour: Tours that cancel within 30 days of tour dates are not eligible for a refund but can be credited a gift card for future bookings.

We will discuss if emergencies arise.

Yes, we do offer a veteran discount. As a female veteran-owned business, we are proud to show our appreciation for the service and sacrifices of our veterans.

🥃 Do I need to bring my ID?

Yes, it’s generally recommended to bring a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, to your Bourbon tour. Some distilleries may require ID verification for age restrictions or to comply with local regulations.

🥃 Can we bring drinks on our Bourbon tour?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a small cooler with your own beverages in the vehicle. However, we ask that you drink responsibly to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone. Please keep in mind that you will be visiting working distilleries, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the tour or facility.

For the enjoyment of all tour guests, we do not allow smoking or e-cigarettes on our tour vehicles. Some distilleries provide a designated smoking area, but many are non-smoking facilities. If unsure, ask.
